Some stories start from the beginning.
Ours starts from a bedroom.
No big investment, no sector study: just three brothers passionate about outdoor sports convinced that things could be done in a better way.
Out Of was founded in Italy in 2017 by us: Federico, with a degree with honors in Physics, Roberto, industrial designer and Laura, graphic designer, in our own bedroom.
We had one aim: to help enthusiasts reach new levels of performance through science.
From small innovations crafted in our home first, to innovative technologies developed in high tech labs then, every day we stay true to our calling.
We’re building pieces of the future through incredible products
In time, our bedroom turned into laboratories with white coats, 3D scanners, 3D printers, spectrophotometers, luxmeters, wave generators, electric welders… you name it.
The labs are Out Of’s beating heart.
Thanks to them, with each and every one of our products we push the boundaries of what’s possible.
Like our IRID patented electronic lenses. We aim to reach “what has never been done or seen before”, and we don’t settle for anything less.

From the Silmo d’Or to the Amazon Launchpad innovation Awards, to the (many) Red Dot, to the ISPO Awards, our products have been awarded with the most important prizes in the world in the field of sport, optics and design.

We’ve been a benefit corporation since 2021 and we’re proud to the a certified B Corp since 2024.
